My mom died when I was a senior in high school. It was a sudden, unexpected event. Needless to say, it rocked my world. It was like the rug was ripped out from under my feet.
The Bible teaches us that all things work together for good to those who love God and are called according to His purpose. (Romans 8:28).
This certainly was true in my life. Because of my mom’s death, I learned to totally rely on Jesus. The months that followed were some of the most spiritually formative times of my life.
Please join us this Sunday. Whatever you are going through, whatever has happened in your life, God can us it for good. All who come will have the opportunity to have their picture taken which we will print and have for you the following week.
Mothers’ Day at Calvary Chapel Oakville is becoming a great tradition.
Hope to see you there!
